This module will locate a string in the narrative description, name, sku, thumbnail, or image field and replace it with another string. You can optionally leave the replace string blank.
1) In admin, click Add Modules link under Global Settings
2) Click the file upload button
3) Browse to find the findrplc.mvc file on your hard drive and upload
4) Click Add to add it to the domain
5) Click the plus to the left of your store name if you have more than one store
6) Click on the word Utilities under your store
7) Check the box next to Find and Replace
8) Click Update

3) Click the link to the Find and Replace
4) You should use caution with this utility. It replaces the "find" string with the "replace" string. If your "find" is contained within a word, it will replace those characters too. This will often change the word so that it is spelled incorrectly. Hence, your "find" strings should be quite unique. You do have the option of only changing it in some records since the list of matching "find" records is displayed with a checkbox next to it. You can check one or more, or you can select the ALL checkbox. This utility is also capable of finding and replacing based on case sensitive or case insensitive.
