This module will locate a string in the narrative description field and replace it with another string. You can optionally leave the replace string blank.
Use the Merchant admin upload feature to upload the module. Once uploaded, click the Add button to add it to the mall/domain.
In admin, under your store, click on the link for Utilities Configuration Screen. Assign the module and Update it to install it in your store.
Click on the image to the left of the Store:Utilities link. Then click on the link for Find and Replace. You should use caution with this utility. It replaces the "find" string with the "replace" string. If your "find" is contained within a word, it will replace those characters too. This will often change the word so that it is spelled incorrectly. Hence, your "find" strings should be quite unique. You do have the option of only changing it in some records since the list of matching "find" records is displayed with a checkbox next to it. You can check one or more, or you can select the ALL checkbox. This utility is also capable of finding and replacing based on case sensitive or case insensitive.
